Micropur Classic tablets from Katadyn are drinking water treatment tablets that effectively eliminate bacteria, algae and germs in water.
They are also environmentally friendly and give water a pleasant taste and smell. Silver ions allow water to remain fresh for up to 6 months.
They are perfect for vacations and travel to regions where access to bottled water is difficult.
- Prevent the growth of bacteria and foul smelling water found in a closed container
- The action is based on the bacteriostatic and bactericidal properties of silver. Unlike chlorine, whose effectiveness in water is limited to a few hours, silver ions allow water to remain fresh for up to 6 months. Silver ions adhere to the cell walls of microorganisms and thus inhibit their growth
- Micropur can also be used wherever drinking water remains in the system for a long time (air conditioners, heating systems, humidifiers, wells, water tanks, baths, etc)
- The tablets are not intended for turbid water with a lot of suspended solids, which can weaken the effect of silver ions. In this case, the water should be filtered first.
