Returns & Refund Policy

In line with the New Zealand Consumer Act, we do not have to provide refunds on change of mind, so please choose carefully.

Clothing and footwear may be exchanged for a different size and/or colour within 30 days of delivery or returned to the store for a refund (minus our cost to ship the item to you) if unsuitable.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags attached and in its original packaging.  You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Return shipping fees of the product/s are at your cost.  Shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

All on sale and/or clearance item sales are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.

The following items are also not able to be returned or exchanged:

  • Helmets, goggles, socks, swimwear and base layers
  • Food items
  • Eating utensils and water bottles
  • Ski boots & insoles that have been fitted instore, however we will work with you to ensure a comfortable fit
  • Skis and snowboards
  • Special orders, including size variations not in stockInternational orders

To start a return, you can contact us at methven@mcewings.co.nz.  If your return is accepted, we will email you a returns form that needs to be filled out and sent back with your item(s) you are returning.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Shipping

Local shipping within New Zealand is charged at the following rates

·        Items under $149 will be shipped at a flat rate of $8.50
·        Items over $149 will be shipped free
·        Rural addresses incur a Rural surcharge of $5.00

We are happy to arrange shipping to international destinations and will provide a cost-based quote on request.

To give you the best service, orders will be sent using Courier Post, NZ Couriers or Poste Haste.

Delivery can be expected in 1 – 3 working days. Please allow an additional 1 - 2 days for rural delivery and bulky items.

If the product is in stock the order will usually be shipped within 24hrs, (Monday - Friday).
